This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for food and related orders placed through BumiSoft in Malaysia.

MKN Technologies acts as merchant of record for those orders. It processes your payment, issues your receipt, and handles refunds in accordance with this policy and applicable consumer law.

BumiSoft LLC provides the BumiSoft platform technology only and is not the seller of your order.

1. When you may be eligible for a refund

  • You cancel before the merchant accepts or begins preparing your order
  • The merchant cancels your order or cannot fulfil it
  • Your order is not delivered (non-delivery)
  • You receive wrong items or a significantly incorrect order
  • There are serious food safety issues (report promptly through the Platform)
  • A refund is required by applicable consumer protection law

2. Refunds are typically not available for

  • Personal taste preferences
  • Delivery delays due to traffic, weather, or high demand
  • Orders you failed to pick up or receive when available
  • Minor variations in portion size or presentation
  • Orders partially consumed before you report an issue

3. Cancellations

If you cancel before the merchant has accepted or begun preparing your order, you may be eligible for a full refund. If you cancel after preparation has started, the merchant may decline the cancellation or apply a cancellation fee. Each merchant may display its own cancellation policy on the Platform where applicable. MKN Technologies processes refunds in line with merchant policies and applicable law.

4. How to request a refund

Contact MKN Technologies through the Platform or email [email protected] for order and payment issues. Include your order number and a brief description of the issue.

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–14 business days. The time for funds to appear on your statement depends on your bank or payment provider and is outside MKN Technologies's control.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 and other applicable Malaysian law are not waived by this policy. You may bring claims to the Consumer Claims Tribunal for disputes up to RM 50,000, where applicable.

5. Relationship to other terms

This Refund Policy is part of our Consumer Ordering Terms (Marketplace Terms), Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between this summary and the binding Marketplace Terms, the Marketplace Terms prevail.
